We love photographing families; the bigger the family the better! We understand it can be difficult to gathering a large group of loved ones but it will be rewarding to be around the family, taking pics and catching up with everyone,
My Dad has 15 siblings, so we are super familiar with big families. We have photographed families as large as twenty-some folks to a smaller big family of ten.
A large family group photo of 10 people or more is what we consider a large family. Each family has their special bond and relationship, which we always make sure to capture. Each family member has their unique personalities, quirks, and stories to tell, so we also focus on taking individual portraits too in these sessions.
If your family has a lot of kiddos, that’s fine too. We’ll photograph them too!
LOCATION
When you have a large family and have to coordinate with everyones schedule, choosing a location that everyone can met at is important. We quite a few suggestions on locations for large family portraits. We tend to suggest locations with steps, elevation, or lot of seating area so we can comfortably pose all your family for great photos.
