Ms. Jackie is such a sweet girl and very lively. You can definitely tell she has a bold personally just by the color selection of her dress! Both she and her mom were super open to my creative ideas, especially during her portrait session.

After meeting with her and family a few times I found out she too was a Christian, which was such a blessing to see. Made my heart happy! Her mom would tell me how involved they were at their church and how happy she was her girls were plugged in too.

Back in the day I use to rarely take quinceañera jobs but lately I have taken on quite a few because of how special these celebrations are for the family. Jackie’s quince was definitely a milestone for her and family. As a photographer it takes patience and a keen eye tell this type of story. Teenagers are unpredictable and you have to be super aware of your surroundings ready to photograph any random fun moment the client may have.

I take pride and joy in my storytelling and today I present to you a storyline of Jackie’s 15th Birthday celebration at the Hacienda Paraiso in Weslaco, Texas.
