With graduation around the corner for many colleges, universities and soon high schools, I can’t help to remember the excitement of moving on to the next milestone of my life. In my career as a photographer I have photographed many unique graduation portrait sessions in the Rio Grande Valley. I too once walked in my regalia and received two diplomas in my life time and I hope to obtain more.
This beautiful girl you see in the photos is a good friend of mine from high school. Seven years ago Ms. Sam Valdez was ready to tackle life and today she’s a successful and happy individual. These photos forever will be a record of that initial start to life as an adult.
If I recall correctly we did photographer her in her cap and gown but I am choosing to show these shots because just as much as the session is to highlight graduation it is also to highlight your character and were you will be taking that character. In this case Sam took her character to Texas Tech University the home of the Red Raiders! If you are graduating soon I would advice to take some fun unique grad photos for your memories.
