Photography and law one time collided in thought. A year or two ago I had the crazy idea of dropping photography to purse a law degree. Obviously, the photography career won but I still dream about becoming a lawyer one day and although it’s a far-off thought I still get to mix the both.
Today we photograph lawyers and I am okay with that. My relationship with the law community has been through the The Hidalgo County Bar Association, which I have had the pleasure of capturing their annual event.
This month we photographed O’Hanlon, McCollom & Demerath, a law firm located at 220 S. Jackson Rd. in Edinburg. I really love how the photos came out for these professionals. We had a simple two light setup with a dark gray portable backdrop. We used a warm tone gel to change the background color as per the clients request. Everyone was super positive and professional and it really reflects in their portraits.
