IT’S OKAY TO BE THE ASSISTANT TOO!
As a full time photographer, sometimes you want a little break from being the lead. Today, I got to help my friend Frank take some family photos and grad pics at Bill Schupp Park in McAllen, Texas of his brother’s family.
We choose Bill Schupp Park because of how green and lush it is. The park is well care for by the city and it has a ton of great spots to use for photos like shaded grassy areas, a cool bridge, concrete steps and tons of swing sets. Plus it’s free!

Okay, I’ll admit…I shot a little too BUT only because I am playing around with my new Sony A6700 w/ my newly acquired Sigma 16mm f/1.4. It’s super new to me so I wanted to test it out a bit and these are some of the shots I got with the Sony A6700.

When you have been photographing professionally for a long time sometimes you need a break from being the main shooter, sometimes you need to shoot for fun, sometimes you need to help other photographers along the journey.
