Fall is our favorite time of the year! Here is a quick guide to help you prepare for your pumpkin patch session at Maddie’s this year! Who’s ready to visit McAllen’s Favorite Pumpkin Patch?
MONEY | DINERO
Like every beautiful thing you want, it costs money to have. Maddie’s has an entry fee per person, so be ready to pay for you and your loved ones. Maddie’s accepts cash and Cashapp. You and your party will be responsible for yourselves. Our Bee team will pay our entry fee too. Another reason to bring cash or have your Cashapp loaded is one word; SNACKS! Maddie’s often has vendors selling goodies like corn-in-a-cup, churros, lemonades, and other yummy snacks.
WALKING – TONS OF WALKING
Maddie’s Pumpkin Patch in McAllen is huge so you’re going to walk a lot. From the parking lot to to exploring the difference photo shoot spots, you’ll probably click a 10000 steps. We recommend you bring comfortable shoes to walk around the pumpkin patch. You can still bring any fancy heels and shoes but bring another pair of shoes to walk around then put the fancy shoes on when it’s time to pose for the photo.
Maddie’s Pumpkin Patch is Pet Friendly
Maddie’s is pet friendly as long as you leash or carry your pets and pickup after them. If you plan on brining your pet make sure you have water and snacks for them. Even if your pet is “the best behaved”, still bring a leash or handler because someone else’s pet may not be public trained. The last thing you want is your pet to get into a fight and get hurt. Lastly, if you plan on taking photos without your pet in the photos we recommend to bring a handler to help you hold them while we photograph you because we will NOT hold your pet while taking your photos.
Weird Smells, Random Noises and Clingy Goats
There is livestock at Maddie’s Pumpkin Patch in McAllen, Texas so be warned there will be odd smells, random animal noises and possible animals that follow us around during the shoot. If you are not afraid of farm animals you should be okay but if you are not used to them mentally prepare; you’ll be alright.
